I can do little better today than to post this wonderful picture shared by my daughter. She is a Baha'i youth who has been posted to Rwanda as a journalist, after her graduation from Carleton University, and you can access her blog for some of the details. She sent many pictures but this one of her with a little gorilla in the background...after describing a rather harrowing hike through stinging nettles to see this remote place of protection for these creatures...I am overcome with joy on her behalf.

My husband Bernie and I have returned to Saskatchewan after almost two decades of absence. We consider this home. I am a teacher, currently in a small town called Maymont, which is at almost the half-way point between North Battleford and Saskatoon, on the Yellowhead Highway. I am also a writer, with three books published and another one forthcoming next year (check out some of the titles at Amazon and other online booksellers).
